Food Security Action Team

The Food Security Action Team was formed to ensure MIT is taking action, carefully tracking, and regularly updating key stakeholders on food security efforts with the goal of creating a food secure campus. We aim to have a well-organized and coordinated effort around food security that we implement reliably year-after-year. Topics that are covered regularly include communications and marketing, dining, assessment, graduate students, special populations, and innovative projects. The group provides regular updates to the Vice Chancellor of Student Life and the Dean for Student Life.

Please visit the Food and Financial Resources page to find support for students struggling with finances, unaware of how to access food resources, or who don’t have enough time to buy and cook food. You can also email fsat-leadership@mit.edu for questions regarding the Food Security Action Team.
