Food Security Action Team
The Food Security Action Team was formed to ensure MIT is taking action, carefully tracking, and regularly updating key stakeholders on food security efforts with the goal of creating a food secure campus. We aim to have a well-organized and coordinated effort around food security that we implement reliably year-after-year. Topics that are covered regularly include communications and marketing, dining, assessment, graduate students, special populations, and innovative projects. The group meets semesterly and provides regular updates to Vice Chancellor and Dean for Student Life, Suzy Nelson.
Visit the Food and Financial Resources page to find support for students struggling with finances, unaware of how to access food resources, or who don’t have enough time to buy and cook food.
