Join Gus Solomons Jr. Visiting Artist Ogemdi Ude for an hour-long, hands-on workshop introducing participants to the creative practices behind Major, her current project exploring the history and physicality of majorette dance. In this dance theater piece, Ude and her collaborators uplift Black femmes – inclusive of queer and trans folks – in a practice that explores community, sexuality, and our relationships to home.
