Culture & Identity Storytelling Night

Join the MIT Asian American Initiative for a storytelling event that will provide an open space to share experiences about family, upbringing, race, culture, gender, and other aspects of identity and belonging. The event aims to promote community-building and solidarity among diaspora groups through creative expression.
We welcome stories in all forms—whether that entails spontaneous rants, original poems/essays/short stories/songs, or pieces by published authors. We will also kick off the event with an opening poem and several brainstorming prompts for storytelling. However, there is no pressure to share—you are welcome to come and listen!
This event is open to all community members from all cultural backgrounds. Dinner will be provided! RSVP below.
