Wellbeing Ambassadors
The goal of the Wellbeing Ambassador (WA) program is to promote a culture of well-being at MIT through community outreach, education, and reflection. WAs are students who are passionate about promoting a culture at MIT where they and their peers can prioritize their well-being. The WAs strive to create environments where all students can care for their minds and bodies, build and foster healthy relationships, and clarify their sense of purpose.
How to Get Involved
The program is organized in a way that allows for any student regardless of where you are on your well-being journey to join the program. Whether you’re just interested in attending educational and reflective sessions to engage in your own well-being journey as a General Body Member (GBM), or you want to be a leader in the well-being space that has an influence at MIT on the WA Advisory Team, there is a path for everyone.
If you’re interested in a leadership position, there are four distinct teams that make up the WA Advisory Team:
Events & Programs (E&P) Team
- Plans & executes one signature event per semester
- Trains other students on well-being event planning
Training & Outreach (T&O) Team
- Presents staff-directed content
- Develops well-being related communications & marketing strategy
- Creates promotional materials (flyers, newsletters, etc) for well-being related programs, events, and social media (flyers, newsletters, etc)
Wellbeing Lab Assistant (WLA) Team

- Serves as on-site event support in the lab
- Serves as the on-site resource in Wellbeing Lab
Weekends@MIT (WAM) Team
