In this overview of Alcohol and Other Drug Services (AODS), participants will learn about the culture of substance use at MIT and become more familiar with AODS as a campus resource.
Session Outcomes:
- Build an awareness of the culture of alcohol and other drug use at MIT
- Understand AODS’ philosophy and approach
- Recall key programs and services offered by AODS
- Recognize signs of substance abuse
- Identify tips for having conversations with students about their substance use
- Explain how to refer students to AODS
