PUMP Week 1: Identity as a Postdoc and Joining a New Community of Practice

This is the first session of the MIT “Power Up My Postdoc” (PUMP) program. This session will focus on 1) reflecting on your identity and background, and on the transition to a new community of practice, be it a new lab, university, city and/or country, and 2) reflecting on your role as a postdoc and unique challenges and opportunities of this position.

The 3-week “Power Up My Postdoc” (PUMP) program aims to help you reflect on and develop your professional goals to make the most of your postdoc position at MIT. You will also get a chance to meet other postdocs and form a supportive community. Each session will feature interactive discussion and exercises.

Please register for each session that you can attend. Light breakfast and coffee/tea will be served. Open to MIT Postdocs.
