Steps:

• Create a short survey, like this one from the TLL’s resource on Mid-semester Formative Feedback.
• Implement this survey at a cadence that is convenient for you.
• Include questions about things that you can reasonably change mid-term.
• Communicate out to students when you make changes based on student feedback.

Rationale:

• Effectively gains targeted and specific information from students about what factors are supporting or hindering their learning.
• Helps students feel that their learning experiences and voices are valued.
