SUMMARY:Challenging Conversations Workshop featuring Student Mental Health & Counseling (a WA Community Meeting)
DESCRIPTION:The Wellbeing Ambassadors Present:\nChallenging Conversations Workshop featuring Leslie Langston\, LICSW of Student Mental Health and Counseling \nWe all face difficult conversations at some point\, whether it’s addressing a roommate issue in the dorm\, a group member’s performance\, navigating a disagreement with a partner\, or in a difficult relationship with a supervisor. No matter how skilled or experienced we are\, these conversations can still bring up feelings of anxiety or frustration. \nIn this workshop\, we will explore compassionate and effective strategies for handling difficult conversations with confidence\, helping you navigate these moments with empathy while still achieving positive\, productive outcomes. \nAdditionally\, we will learn strategies in which to handle strong emotions such as anxiety\, frustration and anger. \nMonday\, February 24 | 4:30PM – 6PM | Wellbeing Lab (3rd Floor\, Student Center)
