DESCRIPTION:The 2025 MIT Bughouse Tournament will involve casual doubles chess in tournament format! \nAs eloquently stated by Wikipedia\, Bughouse chess is a popular chess variant played on two chessboards by four players in teams of two. Normal chess rules apply\, except that captured pieces on one board are passed on to the teammate on the other board\, who then has the option of putting these pieces on their board. Wikipedia. The time control for the games will be 3|0\, which means 3 minutes and 0 seconds delay\, with no increment. Whenever it is your turn to play\, your 3 minutes will count down and if any player runs out of time before any player is checkmated\, the team of the player with no time left loses. \nSnacks will be provided for attendees\, and prizes will be awarded to tournament winners!
